Mary L. Green, 86, of Leesburg, Florida passed away September 12, 2022.
She was born August 24, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia to John Andrew and Mae Cleola (Koon) Warren. Mrs. Green had several jobs in her life however she most enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. Additionally, she enjoyed quilting, stamp art and handmaking cards. Mary attended several churches in the Leesburg area and was a member of Leesburg Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Edward of Leesburg; 3 sons: Bruce and wife Yvonne of North Carolina, Stanley and wife Karen of Michigan, and David and wife Sue of Michigan; 5 grandchildren: Stacey Hicks, Brenna Green, Kayla Green, Alex Green and Randy Green; 3 great grandchildren: Ashley Hicks, Victor Hicks and Charlotte Green; and her sister Myrtie Cowart.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg on Friday September 16, 2022 beginning at 1 pm with a visitation 1 hour prior. Mary will be interred privately at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
