A Leesburg man has been jailed after violating his sex offender probation.
Michael Shawn Tye, 42, who lives in a manufactured home at 10637 Westmont Road, was booked without bond last week at the Lake County Jail.
Tye is charged with violating his sex offender probation in Brevard County. He had been convicted July 25, 2019 on a charge of lewd or lascivious conduct with a victim under the age of 16. He originally registered his address in Leesburg on March 15, 2021.
