McCracken’s Irish Pub expected to begin serving customers this summer in downtown Leesburg

McCracken’s Irish Pub is expected to begin serving customers this summer in downtown Leesburg.

The new restaurant will be located at 719 W. Main St. and will be operated by Melissa McCracken and her husband Patrick Kelly.

The couple said their mission is to make “every guest feel at home” and at the same time feel like they just stepped into a historic pub complete with Irish food, whiskey, and Irish craft beer.

Even though they have yet to open, the McCracken’s Irish Pub team has been out at some popular local events providing sneak-preview samples of what is to come at the new restaurant. Their recent sneak previews have taken place at the Antique Boat Show in Tavares, the Taste of Lake and Leesburg Bikefest.

Hours at the restaurant will be 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Saturday.
