Joan “Gogo” Gogolewski, age 87, a resident of The Plantation, Leesburg, Fl. passed away April 1, 2022 at The Villages Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Joseph & Florence Kelpinski, born in Bristol. Ct. , graduated from Terryville High School class of ’52’, retiring from General Motors.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Myron “Mike” of 33 years. Both enjoyed traveling, golf, playing cards and time together. Joan was a stunning person with pale blue eyes and enjoyed social activities with her many friends. She was a member of the Mended Hearts, Red Hatters and Italian Club. Joan will be dearly missed by relatives and friends. A special thank you to staff at Watercrest Buena Vista and emergency personnel at The Villages Hospital.
According to Joan’s wishes, following cremation, a funeral mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1330 Sunshine Ave., Leesburg, Fl. May 5th, 10AM. Interment will be at Bushnell National Cemetery with Mike.
