Stacie A. Masterbone 55 of Leesburg, FL formally of Wolcott, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on January 1, 2022 surrounded by family and her fur babies after a long illness. Stacie was born on November 26,1966 in Waterbury, CT the youngest daughter of the late Sherry A. White and the late Manuel P. Monez. Stacie graduated from Wolcott High in 1985 and attended Briarwood College where she pursued a career in accounting. Stacie moved to Indian Land, SC in 2004 and lived there for 16 years with her husband and best friend, Fran, before they settled in FL last year. Stacie had a love of all animals and enjoyed watching the birds on her feeders and the rabbits that came around. Stacie loved crafts, reading, watching her favorite soap operas and her family. Stacie also had a love of pocketbooks and shopping with her sister and nieces. She will be missed by her fur babies Sasha and Mickey who will miss her lap immensely. Stacie is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Francis (Fran) P Masterbone Jr. of Leesburg FL and her stepchildren Derek Masterbone (wife Claire) of Stratford CT, Brittany Mathewson (partner Clay Wilson) of Lone Tree CO, and her beloved grandson Aiden James Masterbone of Stratford CT. Stacie is also survived by her brother Jeff Monez of Pelham Ga, her sister Rema Perras (husband David) of Oakland FL, Sister-in-law Chris Bernier (husband Lee). In addition, she is survived by her nieces Michele Pelletier, Michellyn Perras, Taylor Perras and Whitney Perras. Stacie is pre-deceased by her big brother Cyril Monez.

A celebration of life will take place in Connecticut in the spring of 2022. The family will announce the time and place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family has asked for donations to be made to ASPCA.org or to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) at rarediseases.org.
