The ex-girlfriend advised that Bedford came unannounced and would not leave. He had already been trespassed from the residence regarding an injunction she had filed for based on a physical altercation at the same address on Feb. 6. During this incident, he showed up and made her guests leave so he could physically abuse her, the report said.

He pushed her into the kitchen table, causing her to fall on it and damage the wall. He then began to hit her head. She did not call law enforcement because he was still there to make sure she did not do so, the report said.

While speaking to the officer, the ex-girlfriend mentioned leg and back pain multiple times. She brought up a knot in her head with a ringing in her left ear, as well, showing a bruise behind said ear. She also had a small bruise on her left upper thigh, the report said.

The officer next spoke with Bedford who stated he just came by to get some of his things. The ex-girlfriend was mad over a Facebook post that he uploaded, and she threatened to call the police. He then denied soming to see her on Feb. 6, claiming he was driving back home from out of state. He came by on Saturday but did not touch her, the report said.

Bedford was subsequently arrested for simple battery (domestic) and transported to Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.

He was also charged in Nov. 2024 for interfering with the arrest of a family member.
