Alex Lopez, 25, was arrested on June 26 for the fatal shooting of a clerk at the Fast Stop Superette, located at 3702 Picciola Road in Leesburg, on the night of May 30. The victim, 51-year-old Raied Shihadeh, was found unconscious with at least one gunshot wound on the floor inside. He was airlifted to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he later died.

As an investigation unfolded, detectives found that Lopez’ girlfriend, 25-year-old Kaili Elizabeth Dupuis, helped him evade law enforcement along with his mother Patricia Kinchens and sister Breanna Lopez. Detectives filed arrest warrants on all three women last week for accessory after the fact of premeditated murder, armed robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm/ammo by a convicted felon, and weapon display/use during a felony.

Patricia and Breanna were arrested Thursday, Aug. 22, without incident. Dupuis turned herself into Lake County Jail on Tuesday afternoon where she remains without bond. With that, all suspects involved have been found.
