John Joseph Nieubuurt of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born to his parents Joseph and Florence Nieubuurt on November 14, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois. John lived in Central Florida on and off for years, before settling here permanently in 2014. He was a proud member of the YMCA. He loved dancing and music, especially listening to old jazz and classic hits. He especially loved traveling and going on cruises.
John is preceded in death by his wife Joyce who passed on May 8, 2018.
John is survived by his daughter Shannon (Marc) Welsh; grandchildren Jacob, Caleb, and Kaitlin Welsh.
