Irene Wolosin Dougherty, 87, of Grand Island, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. Born in New York, New York, she moved to Forest City, FL in 1972 from Yonkers. She worked as a customer service representative in the banking industry and was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis.
Irene is survived by her Sister, Elizabeth Bailey of Yonkers, NY; 3 Nieces, Cindy Eson of Sherman Oaks, CA; Diane Bailey of Marlboro, NY; Carol Cacciatore of Campbell, NY; Great-Niece, Elise Cacciatore of Campbell Hall, NY; and Great-Nephew, Michael Cacciatore of Rahway, NJ.
Services will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, Florida, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM with reception to follow. Irene will be laid to rest with her husband, Francis Michael Dougerty, in Oakland Cemetery in Yonkers, New York.
