The GFWC Woman’s Club of Leesburg will host a Quarter Auction for charity this weekend in Okahumpka.
The club is a non-profit organization that gives scholarships to women in the community and supports local charities through volunteerism and donations from special events. Proceeds from this auction will benefit the Lake County Charitable Organizations helping local families.
The auction will be held from Sat., March 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4273, located at 27150 Haywood Worm Farm Road in Okahumpka. The Quarter Auction will be $5 per paddle, and participants are reminded to bring their quarters. A Silent Auction will entail bidding on baskets and items donated by the community and 14 vendors that will be present at the event.
