April Marie Austin, 40, of Leesburg, Florida passed away peacefully on March 4th, with her family by her side.
April was born on April 17, 1983 to Cindy and Gordon Austin in Winter Park, Florida. After April graduated, she attended Veterinary School and then went on to a technical school and graduated as a Medical Assistant. She loved caring for people and became a traveling home health aide.
April’s favorite activity was cooking and she was an outstanding chef. Her meals were always delicious. Milo was her walker coonhound buddy and she loved and enjoyed her companion very much. She also enjoyed communicating with all her friends on social media.
April was engaged to marry Raheem Mobley. They were friends since high school and they were in the process of starting a food service company.
April was predeceased by her mother Cindy Austin, her grandparents Karl and Barbara Engels and Dale and Arlene Austin. She is survived by her fiancée Raheem Mobley, her father Gordon Austin, her sister Erica Edwards (Lesley Edwards) and her niece, Gracie Angelica Edwards. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on April 27, 2024, Lake County Water Authority at Hickory Point Recreation Park, 27341 State Road 19 Tavares, Florida 32778. The celebration will begin at 12 pm and April would love for you to come casual.
