Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Mike Street regarding a suspicious person around 11 p.m. March 1, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

The officers made contact with a man who was identified as 35-year-old Kelvin Daniel Pope. His identity was verified using his DHSMV identification photo. Additionally, this was used to verify that he had been issued a trespass warning in Oct. 2022 by LPD, the report said.

Pope was subsequently arrested on charge of trespass (other than structure/conveyance). He was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
