Eric W. Peterson passed away peacefully at the age of 45, on March 4, 2024.
Eric was a godly man who loved the Lord and his family and set an example for his children that will lead them all their lives. Eric was born and raised in San Diego, CA.
He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Hood, TX. Completing two tours in Iraq, and medically retired at the rank of sergeant. He spent the last six years living in Leesburg, Florida, surrounded by loving friends and family.
Ever since Eric was young, he has had a love for Corvettes, car shows, and swap meets. He enjoyed spending time with his sons by taking them to local swap meets. Just as Eric’s father had done with him as a child. Eric loved the water and grew up spending family vacations on Lake Powell; naturally, he wanted to provide the same memories for his children. One of Eric’s favorite past times was taking his sons out on motorcycle rides for ice cream.
You could always find Eric working in the garage either on a motorcycle, boat, or vehicle. Eric was always quick with a joke, loved to put a smile on your face, & had a great love for life.
Eric is survived by his wife Christina Peterson; children Kaleb, Lillian, Dominick, & Matthew; brothers Bryan & Brandon; sisters Michelle (Randy) & Brooklyn; nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. March 18, 2024, at One Foundation Community Church of the Nazarene, 1685 David Walker Drive in Tavares, Florida.
