Lois N. Simmons

Lois Sumner Simmons, 82, was born Oct 31, 1941, in Leesburg and passed away Feb 16, 2024, in Leesburg.
Her life was God first and then her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Ruby Sumner and son in laws Kenny Carris, Brian Ramsey and Mark Isom. She is survived by two daughters Rhonda Carris Wilkerson (Len) and Dena Isom, seven grandchildren, Ray Carris (Rebecca), Cody Delibro (Nick), Kelly Carris, Kerri Hardin (David), Bryant Martin (Tricia), Tyler Ramsey (Kaylee), and Shelbi Isom. Eleven great-grandchildren, Gage, Melina, Caprecia, Logan, Gabe, Kyle, Kayden, Emma, Parker, Harlynn, Corbin and one great-great-grandchild, Jalen.
She worked for Sprint in Leesburg and retired in 1998. She attended Grace Bible Baptist Church in Fruitland Park. She enjoyed playing the Organ, singing and attending The Joy Fellowship program at church.
Viewing and Service will be held at Grace Bible Baptist in Fruitland Park, Wednesday February 21st 2024. Viewing will be from 11:00am – 12:30pm and service will immediately follow. Interment will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg, FL.
