Three fugitives accused of assaulting police in the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. capitol were arrested Saturday morning in Lake County.
The arrests occurred at a ranch near Groveland on the third anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the capitol.
Jonathon Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III are scheduled to appear Monday in federal court in Ocala.
Jonathon Pollock of Lakeland has been on the run since the summer of 2021 after he, his sister Olivia Pollock and Hutchison were indicted for assaulting capitol police officers, theft of government property, entering a restricted area and violent entry and disorderly conduct on the capitol grounds. Olivia Pollock and Hutchinson have been fugitives since they failed to appear for trial in 2023.
The affidavit filed in support of the charges stated that Hutchison and the Pollocks appeared on police body cameras and on security footage as they made their way to the capitol building. The FBI was contacted by a fellow employee of Jonathan Pollock who worked at the Pollock family’s gun shop in Lakeland. The witness said that Jonathon Pollock had taken time off work to go to the capital on the day of the riot, The informant told the FBI that Jonathon Pollock bragged about being on the news and showed co-workers pictures on his phone showing his actions at the capitol.
The witness told the FBI that Jonathon Pollock did not come to work the next day and never returned.
Two other friends of the Pollocks were also indicted for their actions on Jan. 6 and were shown on videos with the Pollocks on the capitol grounds. Those co-defendants, Joshua Christopher Dollin and Michael Steven Perkins, were both convicted for their actions in the Jan. 6 uprising. Dollin was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison and Perkins received a four-year federal prison sentence.
