All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, and the Lake County Extension Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 25. The offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 26. All offices will also close on Monday, Jan. 1. The offices will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
Other Office Closures:
- The Supervisor of Elections Office will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Monday, Dec. 25, and Tuesday, Dec. 26. The office will also close for the New Year’s holiday on Friday, Dec. 29 through Tuesday, Jan. 2.
- The Lake County Animal Shelter will close early at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24, and be closed all day on Monday, Dec. 25. The shelter will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
- The Shelter will also close early at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31, and be closed all day on Monday, Jan. 1. The shelter will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Curbside Collection Changes:
- Residential Collection Services, Landfill Operations, Customer Service, and Residential Drop-offs will be closed on Sunday, Dec. 24.
