Cecil Lane
July 29, 1943 – December 11, 2023
With a bittersweet heart, I pass along the divine intervention from God. Cecil Lane went home with the angels on December 11, 2023 at 7:35 am. My world stopped. I can’t describe every sigh consumed inside my tender heart to explain how he impacted my life. I pushed him and he gave an incredible fight to the very end when he whispered, “I love you beyond, but please let me go.” Suddenly nothing mattered. No words, no moons, no tides, after 13 hospitals since May 13, with a grave heart, the man who gave the sun to my soul, is in God’s hands now.
Cecil’s body will be cremated at Beyers Funeral and will be given a full military celebration at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. I will have a street in Florida named after my love, Captain of the Military Intelligence, recipient of Harvard scholarship, and later a Pastor to minister millions, was my Cecil C. Lane.
