A homeless woman was arrested for trespassing by climbing through the back window of a building in Leesburg .

Deputies responded to a trespasser complaint at an undisclosed Leesburg address around 12:57 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Details from a previous trespassing case led them to suspect 57-year-old Stephanie Lynn Bray.
The complainant saw Bray enter the residence through a back window prior to calling law enforcement. Due to there being two buildings on the property, the complainant identified the building on the west side as the one being broken into, the report said.
While canvassing the property, one of the deputies noticed a large plywood board covering a window from the inside of the building on the southeast side. He tried to shove it forward into the building but was met with resistance from the other side, the report said.
The deputy commanded any occupants inside the building to exit, prompting Bray to slide the board to the side and immediately leave through the rear window. She was handcuffed and escorted to the rear of a patrol vehicle, the report said.
The Pennsylvania native was charged with trespassing into a structure and transported to the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
Bray was arrested in October for leaving Walmart in stolen shoes she swapped with her own footwear.
