An officer responded to Lake and High Street in Wildwood regarding an unknown disturbance at around 8 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Upon arriving, the officer met with two female victims near the intersection. The first victim stated that 19-year-old Terrell Jamal Willie Wolfe was her sister’s boyfriend. The second victim explained they were there to speak to her daughter about Wolfe stealing a firearm belonging to the first victim, the report said.

The first victim texted her sister, and she agreed to speak to both victims about the stolen firearm. The report noted that both victims stated a police report was taken in Polk County due to Wolfe stealing the firearm.

The first victim stated that when they met up, Wolfe started to run and yell at her. He then pushed her and punched her in the face. Her sister started to fight her, and Wolfe “jumped” in and punched the first victim multiple times. At some point, she ended up on the ground, and Wolfe kicked her. She sustained a mark by her right eye, a knot on the upper left side of her skull and chunks of hair ripped from her head, the report said.

The second victim advised that Wolfe ran at her with a pocket a knife. He stated he was going to stab her in the gut with it while being only inches away from her, creating a well-founded fear that such violence was imminent, the report said.

Wolfe then turned around, pushed the first victim and punched her twice in the face. That was when the first victim was being attacked by her sister, and Wolfe started kicking and punching the first victim in the head while saying he was going to shoot and kill them, the report said.

A witness, who was the brother of the first victim and son of the second, was present during the altercation. He stated that he saw Wolfe holding a knife as described, the report said.

Wolfe was ultimately arrested on charges of battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (without intent to kill). He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000.
