Edgar Randolph “Randy” Huckeba,76 of Eustis passed away Wednesday, October 11,2023 in Tavares surrounded by his family.

Randy was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on April 10,1947 to Edgar and Helen Huckeba. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his son Little Randy.

Randy was a Deacon at The First Baptist Church of Sorrento for many years. He worked in construction most of his life. For many years he worked for Harvey Spears Construction. Later he and a partner opened their own business PreDesigns, after that he did motion screens at ClearView.

He and his wife Linda retired to spend time together and with their great grandchildren. He raised pigs when his girls were young T-N-T Ranch and then moved on to raising cattle. Randy enjoyed his cows and I know they will miss hearing his whistle.

Randy is survived by his wife, the love of his life Linda of 57 years. His daughters that were the twinkle in his eyes, Tammy Chandler (Jason) of Howey in the Hills and Tonya Smith (Dave) of Eustis. His grandchildren Stephanie Dunn (Dustin) of Eustis and Hunter Chandler of Howey in the Hills. His great grandchildren who brought love , joy and life to him everyday Aubreigh and Austin Dunn. Randy had many other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that he adopted by love and to them he was always and will be Grandpa Randy.

He is also survived by his brothers Gerald Huckeba of Donalsonville, Georgia, Steve (Linda) of Lady Lake and Keith (Joann) of Fruitland Park. Sisters; Marguerite West (Charles) of Newport News, Virginia and Sandra Josey of Climax, Georgia. He has numerous neices and nephews that he was very proud of and loved very much.

There will be a celebration of life for Randy on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at The First Baptist Church of Sorrento; 24125 State Rd 46 Sorrento, FL 32776 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. The family is asking to bring a covered dish or dessert to fellowship with the family. Come and help us celebrate the life of this wonderful man.
