Debra Lynn Anderson, 64, of DeLeon Springs (formerly of Umatilla), passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Born in Vincennes, Indiana, she moved to DeLeon Springs in 2018 from Donalsonville, Georgia. Spending most of her adult life in Lake County, she was always active in all of her children’s schools, helping as a teacher’s assistant or classroom volunteer. She and her husband owned & operated JV Plant Works, Inc. Debra was a member of the Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church, Donalsonville, Georgia. Debra was an organ donor actually arranged to donate her eyes upon her death.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James V. Anderson, DeLeon Springs, FL; 2 sons, Charles William Anderson, Orlando, FL, Shaun Philip Anderson, Orlando, FL; daughter, Kristen Marlow Anderson (Bryan) Warren, DeLand, FL; sister, Darlene Marie (Greg) Allen, Lake City, FL; brother-in-law, Danny E. Anderson, DeLeon Springs, FL; 7 grandchildren. An Honor Service & Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held at the Christian Family Worship Center, 265 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, DeLeon Springs, FL on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon.
