Sharon Kay Ethell of Tavares, Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was 82. Shane, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to central Florida in 1989 from Iowa. She loved to gather with her friends and play cards, dominoes or just go have lunch together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George on June 28, 2021, and her brother, Ron Smith. Sharon is remembered and will be dearly missed by her sons, Christopher (Kim) Ethell of Ormond Beach, FL, Jeffrey (Susan) Ethell of Lakeland, FL, and Steven Ethell of Joplin, Missouri; brother, Randy (Ploy) Smith of Chula Vista, California and 5 grandchildren, Chiara, Ryan, Andrew, Courtney, and Samantha.
