Cynthia Ann Vose, 80, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on August 28, 2023. Cynthia was born on August 1, 1943 in Lowell, MA, to her loving parents; Denton and Frances (Boyd) Barnes.
Cynthia spent her life in Massachusetts until her and her husband, Richard, moved to Leesburg in 2011. Cynthia met Richard on a blind date on October 12, 1961. The two fell in love and married on January 26, 1962 and had an adoring 61 years together.
Cynthia received her Masters Degree in Fine Arts for Tufts University and spent her life working as a freelance artist who specialized in many different mediums, she even held successful gallery showings. However, her favorite was to express herself and create wonderful pieces of art was with Gelli Printing and Junk Journaling. Before she started her journey in fine arts, Cynthia found her passion for caring for others. She began working at a young age in the hospital as a candy striper.
Aside from her creative outlets, Cynthia also enjoyed spending time with her husband, her friends, and her family, and especially loved line dancing.
Cynthia will be remembered fondly for her caring nature, and warm heart. She was creative, expressive, and a wonderful listener who took great care of those around her.
Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband; Richard C. Vose, a daughter, Robin Jenkins, nephew; Walter, and great-nephew; Zachary, as well as a sister-in-law; Betty Ann Frobes.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law; Jim Jenkins, a sister; Priscilla Morgan, and a nephew; Randy.
