A Brooksville man was arrested a third time for driving with a suspended license after running a stop sign in Leesburg.

Police observed a grey 2008 Toyota running through a stop sign on Nichols Drive and Main Street at about 4:17 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and met with 48-year-old Edward Ryan Kiser, the report said. A check of his license revealed that he had two prior convictions for driving while his license was suspended from January 2002.

The Chilean native was subsequently arrested on charge of driving while license suspended (third or subsequent offense). He was also issued a citation for running a stop sign. He was transported to the Lake County Jail with bond set at $5,000.
