Lake County announces road project to begin Monday

The Lake County Public Works Department, in cooperation with Asphalt Paving Systems (APS), announces a scheduled maintenance project on County Road 437 between State Road  44 and Sorrento Avenue. The project is set to begin on Monday, July 17.

During road maintenance, motorists should expect lane closures along CR 437 which will likely result in traffic delays. These closures will be implemented daily for a projected period of three to four weeks, as necessary, until the maintenance project is completed.

It is important to note that throughout the project, the road surface may, at times, be unpaved. While efforts will be made to ensure the surface remains safe and driveable, certain weather conditions could potentially disrupt the temporary surface and create unfavorable conditions.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traveling along this section of CR 437, especially during hours of reduced visibility.
