Renee Francene Lashley, 58, went to her Heavenly Home on April 17th, 2023, surrounded by those she loved so dearly. Renee was born on May 30, 1964, in Pontiac, Michigan, to her loving parents; Frank and Joan Reaume. Renee moved to Florida shortly after graduating high school in 1982. It was here where she met her husband of 33 years, Buford Lashley and they built a life together in Howey in the Hills, Florida.

Renee and Buford have one daughter Tammy (Bryan) Mashburn of Umatilla, Florida, who blessed them with a grandson Beau Mashburn of Gainesville, Florida. Some of her fondest memories were made traveling with them to California, Nebraska and Alaska to name just a few. Renee also created many great memories with her family and friends on numerous cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean and to the Bahama’s.

Renee is survived by her husband Buford Lashley, daughter Tammy (Bryan) Mashburn and grandson Beau Mashburn, sisters: Rhonda Ullrich, Rochelle (Ron) Fritz, Rosslyn (Bob) Lally, Rebecca Pratt (Doug Lobmaster) and sister in law Patricia (Bill) Deese. Nieces and nephews: James (Tiffany) Eason, Joshua (Sarah) Ullrich, Shelby (Symbra) Ullrich, Megan Fritz, Jacob (Julia) Fritz, Zachary (fiancé Elizabeth Sanders) Fritz, Rylee and Journee Lally, Lee, Luke and Lance Pratt. Also, one great nephew Micah Ullrich.
Renee was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Joan Reaume, father and mother-in-law Bill and Florence Dye, and sister in law Sandra Bouley.

Renee started her Florida working experience as a hotel front desk receptionist. She also worked as a 911 operator as well as a secretary in the public-school system. It was Renee’s move into the home title industry that allowed her to use her attention to detail abilities along with her outstanding customer service skills to truly shine. Renee was most recently employed by Chelsea Title (Fidelity National) as an Escrow Processor where she was a valued employee of over 9 years. She earned the 5 Star Award in 2020 and the Perseverance Award in 2022.

Renee is sister #2 of the 5 R’s and many will say if you know one of these girls you know them all. Renee has several nieces and nephews who fondly called her their “Aunt Nee Nee”. She spoiled all of them and loved doing it. Her neighbors and friends meant a great deal to her, she loved spending time with them doing many things like crafting, walking, bonfires and even vacations. Renee enjoyed working out at the gym, going to the beach, riding horses, fishing, boating, and ending the day with a nice long bath.

Renee was a caregiver at heart and loved her family and friends deeply. When Renee called you a friend it meant a lifelong friendship, she was someone who was always there for you. She is loved by many and that is evident by the relationships she had and kept for many years. Her love for Jesus was clearly shown in the way she loved others so well.

Funeral will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at Beyers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a service at 1:00. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after the service at Venetian Gardens 1 Dozier Circle, Leesburg in the Harris Room.
