William H. Mills, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023. He was born on May 28, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio, where he lived until his retirement.
He is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 70 years, Patricia (nee Walters). He is also survived by his dear sister Nancy Severino (Larry). He was the devoted father of Deborah and David; loving grandfather of Michael (Hedy), Joshua, Jeremy and Jamie (Heather); great grandfather of Angelina, Brandon, Aidan, Alexis, James, Molly and Drew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends who loved him.
William was predeceased by his parents, George and Edith Mills, his brother Richard and his beloved son James.
William and Patricia retired to Florida in 1996 and enjoyed many happy years there. They loved dancing and did it as often as possible.
William enjoyed photography, camping, boating and he especially loved watching baseball. He also enjoyed having his family visit him in Florida. He was a good man who will be missed by all who knew him.
A Mass will be held on April 17th at 8:30 am at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida. Following the Mass, Mr. Mills will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, at 11:30 am, with military honors.
