Mary Jane Peaco, 75, of Leesburg, FL passed away on April 7th, 2023 in The Villages, FL.
She was born to the late Robert Wallace and Ina Jane (Sparks) Gray. On July 11th, 1947 in Hialeah, FL. She worked in many different fields throughout her life, primarily for the Federal Civil Service, but her most memorable and favored career was when she was a representative for a foreign student exchange program. She and her husband, Thomas, were a host family themselves, on multiple occasions.
Working for and being a host family for the student exchange program allowed her the opportunity to travel, which she loved doing, especially with her husband, family and friends by her side. Together they traveled throughout the US and the world and made new memories wherever they went. Mary Jane loved spending time with her family and adored all of her dogs that she rescued from animal shelters.
Along with her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in passing by her siblings, Robert Gray III and Jennifer Jones. Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Thomas; her daughters, Debbie Moss (Matt Drachenberg) of San Diego, CA and Christine George (Joseph) of Chesapeake, VA; and her four cherished grandchildren, Payton, Kyle, Madison, and Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting that memorial donations be made to your local animal shelter.
