Reefie Kindred, 75, of Leesburg FL passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on April 1, 2023.
She was born December 13th 1947 in Leesburg FL to J.D. Norsworthy and Georgia Gibbs. She was a lifelong resident of Leesburg. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Eustis, FL. She loved cooking and was always the center of all family get-togethers. She was a caregiver at heart to anyone and everyone, and loved her family and friends deeply.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, a brother Arthur Norsworthy, sister Betty Jo Norsworthy and a son, Thomas Sumner. She is survived by a sister Darlene Henson of Waycross, GA, a daughter Lisa Thorn (Benjamin) of Leesburg, a son Timothy Sumner (Anna), Oxford, FL, a son Charles Holloway of Fruitland Park, FL, nine grandchildren: Joe Davis, Nicole Thomas, Timothy Sumner, Brianna Klein, Justin Sumner, Haley Ladd, Cody Holloway, Hallie Thorn, and Benjamin Thorn. Seventeen great-grandchildren: Fisher, Hunter, Preston, Weston, Parker, Penelope, Harper, Caliber, Logan, Luna, Sebastian, Wyatt, Journey, Georgia, Millie, Aurora, and Nash. Two honorary grandchildren, Jeramy Spain, and son Oaklee; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She had a large family, with a lot of love she shared with everyone. She will be missed.
The graveside service will be at Loan Oak Cemetery at 10am on Friday, April 7th, 306 Thomas Ave, Leesburg, FL 34748. Flowers may be sent to Beyers Funeral Home, 1123 W Main St. Leesburg, Fl 34748.
