Barbara A. Hyman, 83, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on March 17 of ovarian cancer.
She was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Scherz. She retired from the Sheriff’s Dept. Of Onondaga County, Syracuse, NY, as a civil deputy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, daughter Kelly Thompson, brothers Joseph and William. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Tom) Kehr of WY., son, Mark (Darlene) of GA., stepdaughter, Nicole (Justin) Hyman-Thompson of IL., 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She will be inurned with her best friend and husband, Frank, at Arlington National Cemetery.
