Robert F. White, a native of Howey-In-The Hills, Florida, died December 27, 2022.
He was born June 28, 1940 in Montverde, Florida and grew up in Howey-In-The Hills. He graduated from Tavares High School in 1959 and served in the Army. He retired from CSX Railroad, working out of Orlando. He spent his retirement years in Howey-In-The Hills doing his favorite things: listening to music, working in his yard, shopping and trading cars. He was a friend to everyone and a very kind and gentle man who enjoyed life.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Donald Proctor White, his Mother, Elizabeth Beeland White, his brother Tommy White and his Sisters-in-law Patsy White and Dorothy “Dotsy” Miller White. He is survived by his brother Donald (Mary) White and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He is sadly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726. A funeral service will be held December 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. graveside at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, 101 FL-19, Howey-In-The-Hills, FL 34737.
