Thirty outstanding career and technical students at Lake Technical College were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
“These students are not only leaders at Lake Technical College, but they are the future workforce leaders in our community,” said DeAnna Thomas, Lake Technical College’s executive director.
Students were selected by their instructors based on their excellent attendance (90 percent or higher), outstanding academics (93 percent or higher), and their high moral character and positive attitude in the classroom.
The National Technical Honor Society has honored students in career and technical programs since 1984. With over 50,000 new members annually, NTHS exists to advocate for and empower all students to pursue the technical and academic skills needed to build their careers and a highly skilled global workforce.
