A Leesburg man has been arrested for violating his probation.
Thomas Falzone, 22, had been placed on probation Oct. 6 for possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A warrant for his arrest was issued on Oct. 28 when his probation officer determined Falzone had violation his probation.
He was taken into custody on Thursday and booked without bond at the Lake County Jail.
Falzone had been caught with the methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on July 16 when a Leesburg police officer responded to the area of Fairfax Street to investigate a report of a man displaying a knife in a threatening manner to the manager of a local motel.
Falzone also had been arrested Feb. 15 in Eustis.
He was also arrested in September of 2020 for theft.
