Mary Louise (Hollen) Zeunik, age 85, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Mary was one of five children born to Louis and Clois (McKim) Hollen in the small town of Taswell, Indiana. After graduating high school, Mary moved to Indianapolis, Indiana living with her uncle and aunt Alva and IVY. She secured a job at RCA where she remained for many years. It is here that she met her husband of 50+ years, Alvin Albert Zeunik, Jr. Together they raised three children and enjoyed many family activities that included camping, boating, water skiing, and fishing. Mary also enjoyed cooking and baking. They moved to Spencer, Indiana looking for a quieter country lifestyle. Mary went to work in the cafeteria at the Spencer school system and Alvin remained at RCA. They grew many productive gardens, did lots of mushroom hunting and played lots of cards, which is an Indiana thing. After retirement they moved to Leesburg, Florida in search of warmer weather and settled in Bonfire Village. Here they made too many friends to mention and remained active playing golf, attending many dances, karaoke, fishing, more cards and loved to play Marbles.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Alvin, parents Louis and Clois, sister Betty (Hollen) Patton (Bud), brothers Bobby Hollen (Margie), and Donald Hollen (Barbara). She is survived by sister, Sue Zehr (Ed); sons, Mark Nelson, Alvin Albert Zeunik, III (Charlene); and daughter Deborah (Zeunik) Vaught (Terry). 7 grandchildren, jacob Nelson, Emily Gill, David Zeunik, Jake Zeunik, Gretchen Morphew, Emily Baker, Molly Kemery; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Mary at the Bonfire Village Clubhouse on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 1:00PM. An Indiana private memorial and burial at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Indiana will be held at a later date.
