Jeffrey “J.P.” Golod of Eustis, Florida passed away on Monday November 7, 2022, at the age of 62. Jeff was born on November 3, 1960, in Germany to his parents Gerald “Stan” and Helen Golod. He was a military child with both of his parents working in the United States Air Force. Jeff would also choose to go into the military as a veteran of three and a half years in the United States Marines.
One of his true passions was people. He loved to make people smile and he also chose a career in Sales and Real Estate for this exact reason. Jeff is a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Leesburg. Something else he loved was riding his motorcycle, cooking, and eating his favorite food pizza. He married the love of his life on May 30, 2008, in Stuart, Florida, Angie Golod.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents Stan and Helen Golod.
Jeff will be deeply missed by his wife Angie Golod; sons Jeffrey Golod of Naples, Florida, his twins Matthew and Stephen Golod of Palm City, Florida, Austin Patnaude (Molly) of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Alec Thomas Patnaude of Orlando, Florida; daughter Kristine Dunn (J.R.) of Naples, Florida; brother Richard Golod (Judy) of Ponte Vedra, Florida, and grandchild Mason Golod.
A memorial and gathering will be held at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg on Friday November 18, 2022. Gathering is from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with the service to follow at 2:00 PM.
