Maureen Fitterer, age 77, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was born August 31, 1945 in the Bronx, New York.
Maureen spent 18 years working for AAA. Along with her husband and family she hosted numerous foster children throughout her life and truly made a positive impact on their lives.
She is predeceased by her mother, Catherine Nash and sister, Patricia Farrell.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, Frank Fitterer; children, Scott Fitterer, Pauline Rider (Colin), Sean Fitterer and Mary Bruno (Michael); sister, Barbara Jean “BJ” Kerner (Bill); grandchildren, Matthew and Alexander Fitterer and Khileigh and Jayden Bruno as well as numerous other extended family members and dear friends.
