Ruth Ann Messer, 67 of Leesburg passed away July 24, 2022. Ruth was born June 1, 1955 in Knoxville, TN to David Addison and Nina Mae (née Hill) Wright. Ruth was a Baptist by faith and worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles as an examiner for 30+ years in the Astatula, FL office.
A loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother: she would welcome all into her life and home. Survivors include: husband of 51 years Ronald of Leesburg; children: Charles Messer of Tennessee and Stacey (Scott) Rusch of Leesburg; grandchildren: Shanon, Tyler, Owen, Brittny, Dalton, Blake, Garret, Kyle, Linsey, Anthony and Nina; many great grandchildren; sisters: Lou Ann Gammon of Leesburg and Frankie Lane of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg beginning at 9 AM Friday July 29, 2022 with a Funeral Service to follow at 10 AM. Interment will follow the Funeral at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg.
