David Samuel Wellman, 18, Fruitland Park, Florida went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2022 in Leesburg, Florida. David was born on January 23, 2004 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to his parents Keith Allen Wellman and Mary Dollina (Trent) Wellman.
David had worked in Maintenance in the Retail Industry. He and his family moved to Leesburg, Florida in 2017 from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving father: Keith Wellman of Leesburg, FL; two brothers: Michael Sponholtz of Louisiana, Keith Sponholtz of Leesburg, FL; three sisters: Kathleen Marie Foy of Ocala, FL, Candice Wilmot of New Hampshire and Davalia Wilmot of New Hampshire; paternal grandmother: Joann Denson of Richland, KY; paternal grandfather: Richard Glen Wellman of Indianapolis, IN; maternal grandmother: Irene Trent of Richmond, NC; uncle: Rick Phelps of Fruitland Park, FL; many loving aunts and uncles and many loving nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Wellman and his maternal grandfather, David Glenn Trent.
Services to be held by the family at a later date in Florida.
