Lake County School Board candidates to speak at forum

Candidates vying for spots on the Lake County School Board will have a chance to speak to voters at a forum 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lake County, 1235 Mount Homer Road in Eustis.

Candidates from Districts 2 and 5, whose names will appear on the Aug. 23 primary ballot, have been invited to speak. The forum will be an opportunity for voters to hear the candidates respond to questions related to their qualifications and campaigns.

Each candidate will have two minutes at the beginning of the forum to introduce themselves and briefly discuss their platform. Questions will then be presented to candidates, with each having one minute to respond. At the end of the forum, each candidate will be given three minutes for closing remarks.
