An aspiring exotic dancer was arrested on a drunk driving charge on her way home from an interview at a gentleman’s club.
Marieli Vaccaro Rodriguez, 28, of Summerfield was driving a Cadillac in the wee hours New Year’s Eve when a Leesburg police officer observed that she was driving somewhat erratically.
During a traffic stop, Rodriguez appeared to be confused, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. She said she was on her way home from a job interview at the Body Shots gentleman’s club in Marion County. She admitted she drank two vodka and Sprites at the club. She appeared to be unsteady on her feet.
She performed poorly in field sobriety exercises. She provided breath samples that registered .212 and .215 blood alcohol content. She was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
