Carl Stephen Payntor, of Leesburg FL, passed away on November 28, 2021, in Tavares, FL. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to his parents Curtis and Margaret Payntor on October 17, 1944. Carl was a corporate lawyer, a member of the American Bar Association, a member of Shepherd of the Mountains Church in Murphy, NC and attended First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Linda Payntor; children: Ryan Payntor, Elaine (John) Rollins, Stephanie (Keith) Manker and Alexandra (Michael) Gallant and seven grandchildren. Siblings: Ed Payntor, Kit (Fred) Meeker and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM on January 22, 2022, at Shepherd of the Mountains Church in Murphy, NC.
