Leesburg kicking off world’s largest three-day motorcycle and music event

Leesburg Bikefest, the world’s largest three-day motorcycle and music event packed into 30 square blocks, is ready to get the party started.

The event includes concerts, vendors, hot body contests, amazing bike shows and stunt shows.

The hours of operation will be:

• Friday, Nov. 12 – 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.

• Saturday, Nov 13 – 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.

• Sunday, Nov. 14 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Molly Hatchet will take the stage at town square at 10 p.m. Friday. The southern rock band formed in 1971 in Jacksonville is best known for its 1979 blockbuster album, “Flirtin’ with Disaster.”

Singer Eddie Montgomery will officially close out Bikefest with a performance from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Town Square stage. Montgomery is probably best known for his half of the duo Montgomery Gentry. Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017 in Medford, N.J.

City of Leesburg offices will be closed during Bikefest.
