Abraham Mendoza, 76, resident of Leesburg FL. passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. Born in Caracas Venezuela he lived in Chicago Illinois since 1977. Moved to Florida in 2019. He was a man who loved God and loved to witness telling people about Jesus and His goodness causing many to turn to Jesus Christ to receive Him as their Lord and Savior. In his lifetime he raised and pastored two churches. He was a member of Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park IL. where he also served as a deacon after he retired for several years before moving to Florida. In his latter days Abraham lived a simple life; he enjoyed being with his family, helping his wife, and going to the beach. Abraham is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Mendoza who resides in Leesburg FL.; his son Isaac (and wife Nila) Mendoza who resides in Eustis FL.; 2 grandchildren, Michael Mendoza who resides in Chicago IL. and Azariah Mendoza who resides in Eustis FL.;1 brother Nicholas Mendoza; and 2 sisters, Rosa and Magry Mendoza who reside in Venezuela. Abraham Mendoza will be missed. But we know that he is in a better place experiencing fullness of peace and joy in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
