A teen was arrested Thursday afternoon by Leesburg police after allegedly attempting to steal nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

Camryn Wolf, 19, of Leesburg, entered the store and filled a cart with several items from different departments, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Her actions were monitored by loss prevention employees using video surveillance.

She pushed the cart, containing 82 items valued at $942.87, out of the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. Wolf did not cooperate with store employees who tried to stop her and resisted the efforts of police who attempted to hand cuff her, the report indicated.

Wolf was arrested on charges of grand theft, resisting a law enforcement officer and resisting a merchant. She was at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $4,000 bond.
