Leesburg police arrested a drunk driving suspect after a hit-and-run crash during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Amanda Rose Merritt, 28, of Weirsdale, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Friday on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and hit and run.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,500 bond.
