Leesburg firefighters and crews from Lake County Fire Rescue were called to a vehicle crash this week that left one person dead.
Firefighters aboard Leesburg Engine 64 responded to the crash on County Road 470. The incident involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle, a report states.
One person in the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the semi was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital, according to the report.
