Leesburg hospital is a living nightmare

To the Editor:

I can’t even begin to tell you how bad this hospital is. All of the one star Google reviews are just awful to read. Doctors and nurses lie in medical records. Nurses treat patients terribly, violating patient rights. Nursing ethics barely exist here. Nursing skills are a joke. Doctors ordering high risk medications that should not be ordered when not indicated. I am truly concerned about training nurses are receiving at UF health. Again, skills and ethics are almost non existent in Leesburg and patients’ rights are violated regularly. This should not be happening at any hospital. UF Health and AHCA need to step up and remove staff that are putting patients in danger and be sure that nurses and doctors do their jobs correctly and skillfully. There are NO excuses for patients to be treated badly or for nurses and doctors to lie to patients or lie in medical records. Ever. Something needs to be done. Leesburg hospital is a living nightmare.
