Irwin Grady Strickland, 87, passed away May 10th, 2023 in Tavares, FL.
Irwin was born in Cuthbert, GA to his parents, Harvey Jordan Strickland and Mattie (Irwin) Strickland. He would go on to serve his country by joining the United States Navy and achieve the rank of commander. Afterwards, he would earn his doctorate and work as a chiropractor as well as marrying the love of his life, Penny. The two would spend over 20 years together.
Irwin was known for his love of scuba diving and reading. He was also a member of the Golden Triangle Lodge 874, Loyal Order of Moose.
Irwin is preceded by parents, Harvey and Mattie; and his wife, Penny. He is survived by his brother, Zacharie; and many friends.
