Robert Reginald “Bob” Adams of Eustis, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was 73. Bob was born in Huntington, West Virginia. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1972 – 1975, during the Vietnam War. He continued his service in the Army Reserves from 1975 – 1994, when he retired. Bob worked as a finance manager with Ford Motor Company for 12 years.

Bob was a member of The Cross church in Mount Dora, Florida, where he dedicated much of his time serving in the men’s group, The Rise, as well as the Veterans of the Cross. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and was a lifelong fan of the Florida Gators. He had a tremendous collection of gators memorabilia. He was also past President of the Broward County chapter of the Gator Boosters.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Adams in 2015. Bob is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 22 years, Deborah M. Adams; daughters, Alexandria K. (Rob) Beck of Clements, Maryland, Ashleigh Regina Adams of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rachel Rucker of Kernersville, North Carolina; son, Aaron Rucker of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; as well as 3 grandchildren.

A memorial ceremony will be held soon at The Cross. Please check back for details.
