Raymond “Ray” Normand Bizier of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at the age of 85.

Ray was born on August 22, 1937, in Lewiston, Maine to his parents Gerard and Jeannette Bizier. He moved to Grand Island from Maine in 1992, and had only moved to Tavares, Florida a year ago. Ray is a member of The St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, Florida. He is also a member of The Moose Club, American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. His hobbies involve playing guitar, golfing, bowling, gardening, and fishing with his sons. He was also known for his love of playing cards and cribbage. Ray loved his family and friends and spent his time making as many memories as possible with them. Some of the activities you could find him doing would be water skiing, traveling the world, and spending time in the snow. On August 6, 1960, Ray married the love of his life Claire Anna Bizier in Auburn, Maine.

Ray was a member of the United States Air Force from 1956-1960 where he was sent to many different locations including Florida, South Korea, Vietnam, Okinawa, Japan, Thailand, and Alaska. His job with the Air Force was to calibrate and test heat seeking missiles and other air craft electronics. After the Air Force, Ray worked his way through the J. J. Nissen Bread Company where he eventually became a manager.

Ray is survived by his wife of 62 years Claire; sons Philip (Susan) Bizier of Turner, Maine, David Bizier of Sabattus, Maine, Rodney (Shari) Bizier of Holiday, Florida, and Andrew (Jane) Bizier of Grand Island, Florida; brother Robert Bizier of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren Derek (Brandy) Bizier of Orono, Maine, Tiffany Bizier of Turner, Maine, Julia Bizier of Sabattus, Maine, Savannah, Makayla, and Jasmine Bizier of Grand Island, Florida, and great grandchild Eira Bizier.
